Medical aid for the National Cancer Institute
21.06.2022The Future for Ukraine Foundation organized a meeting of the Japanese company Jinriki with representatives of the National Cancer Institute for the transfer of medical assistance — wheelchair towing bars and disposable medical gowns from the charity RocMaidan.
The Japanese delegation visited the National Cancer Institute on June 17. During the meeting, there was an official transfer of humanitarian aid from the Jinriki team.
The Japanese company Jinriki manufactures social security equipment. In June, the company donated wheelchair towing bars to the Future for Ukraine Foundation for people who have difficulty evacuating to shelters during daily air strikes because of russia's military aggression.
The Jinriki towing bar is attached to the front of the wheelchair to lift the front wheel and pull the wheelchair like a rickshaw. With its help, you can easily overcome uneven roads and stairs. After the Tōhoku earthquake of 2011 in Japan, the device was developed and received a patent. Our team delivered these helpful devices to the National Cancer Institute.
During the event, the Future for Ukraine team delivered 450 disposable medical gowns to the National Cancer Institute, kindly provided by the Charitable Organization RocMaidan from the Ukrainian diaspora in Rochester, USA. Future for Ukraine will distribute more than 46 thousand disposable medical gowns from the partner to Kyiv public and military hospitals.
After the official part, the FFU team invited the partners to visit the Future for Ukraine Humanitarian Aid Center, which will soon be open to all who need help.
We truly thank our foreign partners for their support. Together we can make a difference.
